After being cooped up for 3 days while I felt yucky with some sort of flu I decided to get the kids out of the house and get them worn out! We had a fun morning. We hit the car wash and got the 3 months worth of dirt off of our car. They loved it and no tears from either boy! Then we went to the park so they could run around and swing and slide.
Parker was totally chill in the swings. Connor had fun too and I pushed him SO high! Then he wanted to be in the big kid swing which ended up with him falling out onto his back. That ended THAT!
Connor LOVES this park because of the steering wheel. He HAS To have my keys and "drives" for as long as it takes to get bored. Which is never.
Parker had so much fun going down this slide! He did it over and over and was so brave!
On we went to the splash pad! The first time this year! It was the perfect day for it- maybe a little chilly for Connor who fully immersed himself in the not so warm water. He was shivering by the end but still had a blast!
Parker was NOT ok with it at first but slowly let me walk him around through the water. By the end he was not patient enough to hold my hand and just wandered through the water alone! It was so fun to watch his little baby belly sticking out as he walked around like he owned the place!
Connor was so brave and was all over the place. At one point I thought I'd lost him because he ran over to play in the splash pad area but I couldn't spot him. Heart attack city!
We finished things off with lunch from Judd's! It was NOT the best time. Some lady decided she'd have her 3 year old daughter save the only table available before she'd even ordered. I had a tray of food, the stroller and a 3 year old in a CANDY store. It was nuts. I was so offended that she saw my struggle and didn't want to help me out by giving up the table.
We ended up going to Taco Bell because our shared breadsticks and soup weren't very fulfilling. It was a fun morning and we got home in time for some LONG naps! Connor just woke up and Parker is still out cold! :) That rarely happens!
